Golden Cross
50 MA > 200 MA, within 5% of 52-week high, high volume.
A golden cross is the moment a stock's 50-day average climbs above its 200-day average. Traders read it as a recent rally lasting long enough to turn the long-term trend up, and because so many people watch the two lines, the crossing itself can draw buyers. This screen finds stocks in that state within 5% of a 52-week high on 1.5x normal volume.
Moving averages lag, so by the time the 50-day crosses, much of the move has usually happened.
