Growth Squeeze
Short interest > 15%, revenue growth > 20%, above 50 MA.
Short sellers have bet against more than 15% of each company's float, yet revenue is up 20%+ and the price is above its 50-day average. If results keep beating expectations, short sellers buying back shares to close their bets can drive the price up quickly, which is called a short squeeze.
Short sellers are often right. Heavy short interest can reflect accounting doubts or a business the market expects to fade.
