Price > 20 MA > 50 MA > 200 MA (stacked moving averages).
When the price sits above the 20-day average, the 20-day above the 50-day and the 50-day above the 200-day, the stock is rising on every time frame at once. Trend followers use this order to stay with winners and ignore day-to-day noise.
Stacked averages describe a trend that has already happened, and they are slow to show when it ends.
